What are the wife's sister and brother doing in the house?

I just caught the episode "Devlin in Disguise" the other night. Never seen this show before in my life. My question is, do the fat guy and the hot sister (Kimberly Paisley) live at the house, and why? What is their situation? Thanks.

reply

The fat guy Andy has his own house, he lives across the street from them, and Dana has her own house a few minutes away. They don't live with Jim and Cheryl, they just visit all the time.

Literally. ALL the time.

Awight we're The Daamned we're a punk baand and this is called Carn't Be Appy T'day!

Then there is also the fact that Andy is actually Jim's only close friend, plus that Andy works for Jim in his construction compagny.

And now for the REAL reason:

1. Andy, being uglier, fatter, dumber, and more annoying than Jim, is there simply to make Jim seem more appealing.

2. Dana, being brunette, attractive, and (mostly) single, is there simply to add a more varied sex appeal to the show, rather than just one married, whiney, mediocre blonde.

reply

1. Whatever.
2. Worked for me!!!!! :)

What's wrong with that, If they are respectful and decent people, I rather my family live with me than be in dire straights. A lot of people do that.
