Song from an episode
Can someone identify the song for me at the end of season 2 episode 7 when Sydney and Vaughn see each other again after he is well? The credits didn't show it.

shareSongs are licensed only for a certain amount of time to be aired. Alias is over a decade old, so that means the license for some of the songs have ran out. I guess it's cheaper to replace the songs altogether, even with a new license, just with lesser-known songs.
For some parts of the show, like the opening of "Phase One" (season 2, episode 13), the AC/DC song Back in Black is in tact. I think they did this for the most iconic/memorable scenes -- retain the original songs. For the rest of the show, they chose to not renew the licenses.

That scene with Sydney jogging through the park just isn't the same without Lenny Kravitz's rendition of American Woman. share
