Same fate as Boomtown...

Gee, the big 3 (CBS, NBC, Fox) can't figure out why younger people (males: 16-30) are not watching as much television as they once did... Is it really that hard to figure out? Boomtown was critically acclaimed, "Best New Show" and what not - and what does NBC do? They pull it! Why? Because they have no attention span. Audiences begin to connect with the characters, memorize the airing date/time and program their VCRs... I say to my fellow TV viewers: Don't do it! Watch the screen blanking without expression (This is what they want anyway) ... Don't parallel your daily life with that of a TV personality, because as soon as you do, and sit down to watch the show, an episode of "Friends" will be on, even though it says "Boomtown" in the guide. Because then you will become PISSED OFF like me!

TV revolves around sex and crime, people try to say otherwise, but these two things are what sell. However, neither genre can stand on their own. Sex: "Skin," "Miss Match" & "Coupling" both failed. Crime: "UC: Undercover," "The Agency" & "Robbery Homicide Division" could barely last more than a season. They dangle these shows saying that everyone is talking about them... The only people who are heard those who criticize and push for their removal.

Even a more juvenile "Fastlane," yet with great cinematography and style, is pulled after one season. Being a writer is a tough job... After 7,000 choreographed murders, the plot becomes a little redundant. Don't you think?
