ok, i kind of liked it...

The first time I saw this movie, a couple of years ago, I thought it was horrible. My Tivo picked it up again over the weekend, as a suggestion, and I decided to give it another shot.

I kind of...liked some of it. I liked the relationship that developed between Hector and Allison. Bijou wasn't as awful as I remember. I think some of the moments were smart (Allison saying please in the same desperate way as when Hector was going to shoot her and when she asked him to stop the "initiation"). All the kids in PLC were a waste of space though (and I usually expect something from Joseph Gordon-Levitt!).

I don't know, maybe I was the one smoking crack this time around.

I thouht it was decent, but just nothing memorable and I think some of the males were overplaying the fake gangstaness.

Havoc -5/10
A Clockwork Orange -9/10

I love this movie

have to add something to that u expect more from Joseph Gordon Levitt comment
agreed he is a fantastick actor and Brick is one of my favorite movies, but uh seeing the movie Mysterious Skin where he plays a gay prostitute made me see him in a weird light. Understandably it's a role and he was acting, but it was still awkward. Totally weirder then Leo in Basketball Diarys, but I guess u would have to see it to get it which I don't reccomend.

I thought it was pretty good too. I knew the moment it ended that it was going to be one of those movies a majority of the people on imdb hate though, lol.

Big Gay Al, it has recently come to our attention that you are gay.

Same, I saw it about a year ago and laughed the whole way through about how utterly ridiculous it was and then I saw it about a week ago and I kind of liked it.

I liked it. Didn't love it, but I did enjoy it.

I did start out loving it though. I thought the opening fight scene was pretty cool, as well as the opening credits sequence. I digged Anne's performance and I'm really glad she branched out and did this one. Mike was also awesome.

I just thought Havoc needed more to it. I also thought that, despite Anne's solid performance, her character became progressively unlikeable as the movie went along. I also didn't particularly care for Freddy or his character. The story seemed to suffer near the final act too.

The film was throughly entertaining though, and I thought it was an interesting character study of teens who are fake and want to be part of something that they don't necessarily fit into. Could have been better, but it wasn't horrible.

I give it a 6/10.

The movie wasn't that great. I applaud Anne Hathaway for trying to branch out from her sweet, innocent princess characters by playing a troubled teenager and showing her breasts but her character didn't seem believable. I disliked Joseph Gordon Levitt in this movie immensely. The whole movie just didn't deliver at all for me.
