Is it just me...

...or do these films make you wanna go out and drive like a madman. I watched the whole series, and i gotta tell you, i got into my car, and i wanted to take off, speed around corners, just do some crazy ass *beep*. Luckily before i did i saw the behind the scenes film and that sobered me up, made me realize that i shouldn't.

maybe it is just me

Oh and these films are great, and Clive Owen should be a bigger star.

Now, it's not just you. I want one, too. I've always liked them, but I like BMWs exponentially more after seeing the series.

same here... my respect has gone way up for those cars... and for clive owen, but i liked him anyway.
i know what you mean... seems like it would be so easy to do some of those things The Driver does with his car, but one thing the series does show is what happens to a car when you do that kind of stuff... notice how every single bmw was thoroughly thrashed by the end of the short? that was enough to dissuade me...

The Follow is the most romantic of the series. Wong Kar Wai captures the moment just right, letting the picture take a backseat to the music (most directors would probably blast him for this thinking). It makes me yearn for more, just like in every Wong Kar Wai feature.
