flight 323

This film definately deserved a higher rating. Has anyone any ideas as to why it faired so badly?

I would say there were a few lame special effects, and a rather predictible story line. The acting was fairly good, I think, and I absolutely loved the soundtrack.

The really interesting thing about this film is that it was right in the middle of production when 9/11 happened, and because of that, everything about it ground to a complete halt and was shelved for a few years - then the second space shuttle tragedy happened, delaying it yet again because of the subject matter about a plane crash. And then, after that, the network only aired it once, very quietly.

I'm surprised this movie was ever finished at all! It was originally entitled: "Everything That Rises."

i saw it a few months ago, here is how i felt after watching it: here we go again.. the hallmark channel kind of music constantly in the background, the pussycat actors to perform dramatic scenes leaving them empty in the air, the weird camera shots, this movie changed my life, it's in my mindset from now on to avoid new movies. i've had it.. and since i saw this movie, i kept that promise, i now generally avoid new movies. on another note, "jefferson" and the guy from "odd couple II" can be hilarious in other places.

things i managed without years ago,
must be possible to be without you now also,
did i grow so used to your love,
that this should make a hit so when you walk out the door,
i'll miss that tender smile,
all the love you brought to my life,
i reached out far,
when closer to home seemed to had gone lost,
all through the night and day,
now suddenly it's gone away,
one heck of a way to start the new year,
suddenly you're no longer here.
though i had a backup solution on a hold,
that keeps us still togheter, when sudden misfortune could have broke it all,
how fragil things can be,
but a backup solution, saved you and me.
