The deluxe DVD rocks!!

The DVD of this performance is the best thing since sliced bread, the wheel, microwave ovens and a six pack of Carling Lager for £5.69 at Bargain Booze near me!! Who else thinks so??

It's not bad. Except they didn't have Subtitles. I wanted subtitles so I can sing along with the lyrics.

Elvis He Is The Man!

Yes it is a great dvd,it's kinda cool because you can hear the change in his voice from that young man to the mature Elvis. His voice in this performance once again is just amazing,One of my fav's from this is Lawdy miss Clawdy,he gets so into this and rocks out it's awesome.I know ladies love the way he looked but I have to say that he was also the King of cool,I don't even think there's a word to describe this performance.I get chills when ever I walk by the stage where they recorded this one.

Mike do you work in NBC studios?

reply

I don't work at nbc but I go there a couple times a week.I'm a driver and go to all of the studios. When I go to nbc I usually walk by the stage where they recorded it and if I don't have to go anywhere near that stage I make it point to walk by and look in.

I tend to agree, LOL!

But I have the "Special Edition"; in what way is the "Deluxe Edition" different?

Elvis looked and sounded fantastic. For me, this is better than pizza, french fries, gelato and a frozen grand gold margarita all at once. Just yummy.

Why ain't you at the garden party you heathen?

I love this performance. I became a diehard fan when I saw him on TV. I was only fifteen and any woman with a pulse no matter how young or old should and would have become a lifelong fan! That's how I choose to remember Elvis not like he was at the end of his life,I can't stand seeing that last concert that aired on TV right after his death, it breaks my heart! He still sang great and was still 'THE KING' but, he looked so ill it tore my heart out! To this day I can not stand seeing him like that!
