In this movie Andrew works with his father. I just watched the episode "New Beginings" where Andrew & Collleen get married. During one scene Andrew is talking to Matthew & says "I just wish my parents were alive to see this". She also gradutes from Yale or Harvard (I dont remember which) but in the series she goes to the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania. Maybe I missed something in later episodes???? Even though I love the series & movies it seems that the writers got a tad sloppy with the movies.

The storyline with Andrew was one of the writers overlooks from the episode "A New Beginning". Colleen attended Harvard and graduated first in her class. Michaela Quinn attended the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania.

You are correct. Andrew's dead parents and Colleen's admission to WMC of PA was established in the last episode of the series and then ignored in this movie. Sloppy writing.
