Is the US DVD version of this movie censored?

I own Kino Video Region 1 DVD version of this movie (2003), and my version is severely censored: e.g., the cut leg is all blurred, same for occasional frontal nudity etc. Is it same way in the original / Japanese edition? If not, is there English version available which is NOT censored and uncut? Thanks a lot!

Yeah, kind of sucks that the US version is censored, I was also wondering about this too. There's another part where he shows the people a drawing while planning the play and it is also censored, kinda like to know what that was of.

Thanks, kevcart3, now I know that my DVD is not the only one censored... But do you know for a fact who censored the movie: US or Japanese producer? My guess is US, of course, but it's just a guess...
