The story unfolds quite slow; visual effects are rather cheap (were they really serious about the hyper lift???). When I watched the movie I didn't know in which year it was made, so I was just guessing it had to be in the 90s, because Northam and Liu woudn't probably take such a part after their 'A' level movies. Well, I was wrong. If I was reading this story in a book I would enjoy it, this movie only made me chuckle at times and stare in disbelief. The only plus of the movie is Northam, who's damn hot ;)

Yeah the Black Helicopter and the whole dark scenery does remind me of this great game actually :-)

Actually, with the tone of the film and the way it unfolds, for me it seems like something Philip K Dick could have written.
