I disliked the way he

I disliked the way he said 'Scotch. Single malt. On the rocks'.

Might be his accent or whatever, but I didn't like it. Much like most of his acting as the nerdy guy.

Also, who goes to a bar and orders a 'single malt'? You have brands FFS, single malt could mean basic crap, could mean 21yo Fiddich.

There is no such thing as 'basic crap' single malt whisky. The term is used to differentiate between good quality whisky and 'blended' whisky - some of which is certainly 'crap'.

So you're saying the $29 single malt scotch whiskey I had on the weekend is the same as a 21yo Glenfiddick single malt?

I realise what the term is, my point is that he doesn't specify a particular scotch, when in fact there are certainly different grades of single malt scotch.
