Is digicore related to the cube?

Their logo is fairly similar to designs on the outside of the Cube(Vincenzo Natali's previous film) as in the posters:

Also, the inside of the cube resembles the windows digicore's boss has in his office.

Perhaps they are a subcontractor for Izon. Or the other way around.

reply

I really enjoyed the cube and I kind of got that "cubish" feeling when I saw this flick. Maybe the same producer or writer or something.

reply

same director ;)

reply

Well that explains it. I guess I could have seen that on the IMDB page.... :-(

Or he's just hiring the same cheap designer ;)

Could be it would explain why David Hewlett (Virgil C. Dunn) was in the cube
as he let Morgan Sullivan escape with the data.

reply

I agree
Did you also watch it last night on tv?

reply

yes i did, lol.

Not to mention the existence of the underground installation with 350 floors and a super-smooth magnetic movement. The green hue in the basement gave me that flavor, as did the brilliant white of the tube shaft.

Could it be that DigiCore and Sunway are both developing their own Cubes? Perhaps one of which being reverse engineered from the other?

Finally something about this story that feels interesting and original...
