animal cruelty!

the animal cruelty in this film is very disturbing and not for the faint hearted. it actually turned me against the film and made me very angry. A very sad and cruel film.

But just a reminder: NO animals were actually hurt in the making of the film! There's a disclaimer at the beginning.

Well, they added that disclaimer to make sure nobody thought any dogs were actually beaten -- BUT it's clear they do lift and swing many dogs by their neck collars, which is sure to cause the dogs much discomfort.

I admire many of Kim's films, but I don't think he has much concern for animal welfare.

what cruelty are you referring to actually? is the sound of a bat beating something? cuz i didn't see any animal being harmed on screen.

yes, some dogs and tugged and pushed momentarily but i dont that would have hurt them at all.
