I didn't think that Arnaz was cute at all. I remember him from My Cousin Skeeter on Nickelodeon, and he wasn't cute then either. I wanted to like this show, but I just couldn't get past the way Breahna was always talking about how he is so cute, and I couldn't see it. I could see if she liked him for his...um...perceived talent or something like that, but not his looks. Who's with me?
shareI remember Cousin Skeeter and I recall my sister saying how he wasn't cute at all. For some reason or the other we were all watching and I guess it came up somehow, storyline? Man even my mom agreed but she was nice about it and said, he has really pretty eyes. I was sort of trying to stick up for him, not that they were being jerks about it, just voicing their opinions. I think we all agreed he had nice eyes and a nice smile. Personally I didn't think he was bad looking, even cute.
But when I saw him on one on one and they were always saying how fine he was I didn't get it either. He may not even be this way in real life but he seemed obnoxious on the show. Even though his look got progressively better, I don't think he was ever that goodlooking to begin with. Especially with his personality.
To be honest I recall thinking much the same thing whenever they would go on about it. During this show I don't think there was ever a point when I "swooned" over Arnez. I actually wished she would end up with Josh during that period, primarily because of his personality.
I do like Rob Richard (I miss Bobby) and these days I think he's good looking with a niiice body. But watching the show back then, with his little experimental periods, and his whole attitude, looking all young...I just didn't buy it. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot. Although in real life, from the things I've heard he could be a sweet guy.
So maybe if they would have laid off of overdoing the "Arnez is fine" thing it would have been different, I didn't know anyone who thought he was THAT good looking.
Plus he was pretty goofy.
