Are any battles of the Gallic war shown, and are the legionairies wearing Lorica Hamata or Lorica segmentata?
If accuracy is of importance, then this film isn't for you.

The politics are overly simplified. Key elements of his political life like the triumvirate is left out and so is the character of Crassus.
There's only one battle (guess which) and let me just put it this way, Caesar stays on his horse.
For the Gauls, apart from one, you do not really get to see them, but he's done ok.
Just take it as pure entertainment. :)
