The best actor to have portrayed the role of Marc Antony

Of all the Roman-era movies/series that you saw, who do you think is the best actor to have portrayed the role of Marc Antony? My personal choice remains to be Richard Burton.

I haven't seen very many, but of the ones I've seen, I think Billy Zane portrayed his character well in Cleopatra.

1. James Purefoy.
2. Billy Zane
3. Richard Burton
4. Vincent Regan
5. Jay Rodan

James Purifoy, by far! No one will ever top that. Burton and Brando were horrible!

I must concur with the general consesus, James Purefoy in Rome was magnificent.

Yep, Purefoy all the way. His role of Antony was the one which made him one of my favorite actors.
