Yes. Her older brother killed her. She didn't know about him until the 2nd season.

A corrupt cop - who had an affair with Jordan's mother - was a more likely a suspect, although even that was debatable.....but it was a mystery that was left unanswered when Max quit the show.
Ummm he was her half brother not her step brother and they shared a mother. So it was mom who had rhe affair not the father. But her brother was not the killer.
