The 'John Hughes Care Bears'

Champ Bear, Cheer Bear, Bright Heart Raccoon and Treat Heart Pig. You remember how they were transformed into teenagers for most episodes, don't you? I guess they were chosen because they fit the archetypes the best---the jock, the nerd, the cheerleader and the fat best friend. Yeah, I related to Treat Heart the most. Love it or hate it?

I remember when in the later episodes they kinda shaved the cast down to those characters to the point where they not only dominated episodes(along with Braveheart Lion yet sidelined Tenderheart Bear) but they also gave them clothes and hairdos.
