Anybody else think that maybe he used to be a Care Bear but was corrupted somehow?

He was probably a human like Dark Heart, and the uncaring took him over and turned him into an evil entity like D.H...except D.H. was saved in the end, unlike No-Heart. OR, he could be an evil wizard, like someone else said, and the hood of his robe covers his face so that you can only see the evil, red eyes and the shadows...he loves shadows.
