Severely underrated movie!

This is just my opinion, okay? But I truly believe this movie shows that Pauly truly is a comedic genius. His style is extremely odd and in this he parodies himself and "reinvents" himself all at once. The movie had real heart poured into it and you could tell he really wanted to make this work, all the while knowing (and showing it throughout the film) that he'd be outright rejected, probably no matter what.

This movie is a swan song to the first half of Pauly Shore's career, where it goes from here, who knows, but I've heard his latest movie "Adopted" is really fun as well. It remains to be seen if he has truly reinvented himself (for me, until I see "Adopted" and what he does in the next decade). But that's how it goes. There will always be those stars that are almost cult-icons that are widely hated but seem to never go away. Carrot Top being another great example of that.
