Just take for what it is

And what it is was was a great family affair of a movie. Paul did awsome directing, and everyone involved seemed to really be behind it and it showed in there performance. Whats your thoughts overall on the film?

I thought it was ok, I've definitely seen worse. And I watched it all the way through. I loved all the cameos, especially Kurt Loder.

Not as bad as people make it sound.

Besides, Jason Mewes is in it.

I gotta say that I liked this movie. In some ways I savoured it's awfulness, like a guilty pleasure. In the same way that "Jury Duty" is an awesomely great jaw-droppingly bad comedy.

The premise of this movie sounded so absurd to me that I avoided this movie for the longest time.

It came on last night and I decided to watch it because there was nothing else on, but I watched it with the mindset that I would eventually turn on my Comcast tv guide menu and most likely find something better to watch.I was pleasantly surprised! I thought it was pretty funny! Strangely enough there wee even times when I was pissed off and there were times where I was pretty sad.

I agree with the OP…just take it for what it is. I don’t think people should go in expecting a lot, but for what it was I thought it was entertaining.

I really loved it!
It was just something else...and different to what I expected.
Heck, there was even some heart to be felt in this comedy...and that was for the first time, in a Pauly Shore flick. I guess he recognized, that some seriousness was needed in this, and he hit the spot!

I'm just sorry, that this didn't get the attention it deserved...but I'm still hoping to see Pauly again in a movie soon! No one can say that he's worse than Rob Schneider (whom i also like to watch because just seeing him makes me laugh hard)...

Just watched it the other night! I thought it was hilarious! Clearly a low-budget affair, but the number of celebrity personalities and cameos was unbelievable. That, and the fact that just about every single one of them were trashing Pauly as a total jerk and a loser every step of the way!

I've got to give Pauly a heap-load of credit for paying tribute to his low-brow career in this entertaining way! I've also got to give credit to the many other has-beens and slow-motion actors who basically trashed themselves in various funny ways. Such as Kato Kaelin appearing as the burnt-out motel manager, or Corey Feldman as the back alley crack dealer, or the guy from Milli Vanilli selling fruit by the roadside!

The guy playing Sam Kinison's ghost was great, too. Very close to the original product!

Bravo to Pauly! Never liked his movies at all, but this one rocked!
