Who says Mariah can't act?

I thought she was actually one of the better actors in this movie. People give her all this praise for her part in "Precious" but she really didn't do anything in that movie besides wear makeup that makes her look ugly.

This movie she really got into character and even though I'm a Mariah fan, halfway through the movie I forgot it was even Mariah as Raychel! I don't think she's a terrible actress I just think people say she is because her part in "Glitter" really didn't require that much "acting" for her, if you know what I mean.

I got this for literally $2 at the store today and it was a great buy, I really enjoyed this movie and Mariah really pleasantly surprised me!

Mariah should stick to singing. Her acting is blunt force and tragic.

I think that Mariah Carey does a wonderful job in this movie. Totally believable and lovable. I wish they'd do a sequel.

I also think she is no actress, it would depend upon your level of what you find acceptable, so if you like TV sitcoms then you will probably like Mariah in this film. If you're more interested in serious dramatic acting then you will laugh at her lack of skills.
