Hi,

I tuned in to this movie as Lola was singing a cabaret song, but it was in Portuguese. I recognised it as 'Meditacao'( Meditation). It's a Bossa Nova style song, written by Tom Jobim. Don't know a song called 'I feel bad'. There is 'I feel so bad' by Eddie Taylor. It's a blues song. Could this be it?

The version of Kung Fu fighting was by Carl Douglas. It was released in 1975 and you could probably pick it up at Amazon.com.

As far as I am aware, there was no soundtrack released for 'Don't tempt me'.

Hope this helps :)

Hello, My name is Erkin and I'm a frequent visitor of Kinoforum.
Recently I visited the forum and read your message where you mentioned that you turned one song into digital format. It is a soundtrack to the movie "No news from god" (Portugese song, Lola sings a Brazilian song at the beginning of the movie). One forum attender left message asking what the name of the singer was and what the song was called. You replied that the song was called Meditacao (Meditation) and the author was Antonio Carlos Zhobim. You didn't mention the name of the singer. I believe you are not quite correct about this song. When I watched the film I remember the song being exciting and at the same time romantic, but Meditacao sounds absolutely different. Maybe I'm wrong.
I was wondering if you could e-mail me this song (You made digital only this song, as far as I know. Lola seemed to sing another retro-type song?) as I've been searching for it for so long and no success. Besides, you didn't try to look at the title at the end of the movie. Soundtracks are usually shown there. I'm having problem with that as the movie is not quite new and we don't have it on sale.
Thanks in advance,

Hello! I Believe the song you are referring to is right after the kung-fu fighting-scene when Lola goes to heaven and hears that she has no more audiance and demands the rules to be changed. The songs name is 'I Want To Be Evil' and it's sung by Eartha Kitt.

I myself am more intrested in the bossa nova-song Lola sings when she is firstly introduced in the film. I think it's an old song for I heard an instrumental of the song in a coffee-shop one day.

I believe the song Lola (Ms. Abril)was singing in the cabaret about 5 to 10 minutes into the movie was "How Insensitive" by Antonio Carlos Jobim. Its popularity has endured for over forty years; amazon.com has more than 500 listings for this one song.
