did anyone else notice thst this movie and de niros character takes some swipes at pacino,in some lines like where he says " your looking for some serpico *beep* and the way the baddie is cuban like in pacinos most famous role scarface, theres always been rumors that they really dont get along

shareI think you're really reading too much into it. First off Serpico is a real person and is mentioned a lot of times in films when referring to someone trying to be a super cop or too by the book.
Second the bad guy isn't always cuban and Al Pacino's most famous role is obviously Michael Corleone. Of course if the bad guy was italian, that'd be another way to form the theory so it's really reaching.
