There is no way that the cameraman is James Roday. No way in hell.

At the beginning of the movie, James Roday was a cameraman. I believe that was the only time he was shown. The one that eventually follows them around was Judah.

Maybe Roday was the guy whose camera got shot to pieces.

He was the guy that De Niro got annoyed at and shot his camera ("I'm just doing my job!")
