The scientist woman start waving and screaming at the sabretooth at the end of the movie (right before she gets killed). She just yells at it to go away while it's walking towards her.
Shouldn't she have known that waving at a dangerous animal will provoke it, especially if she'd already seen people die? Woooooow.

oh! hahaha! She wanted the creature to live so she can send another expedition to it's death trying to trap it. She's retarded hahaha. It's funny though because she being the scientist and the zoo keeper at the lab should have some clue as to the Sabretooth's instincts and aggressive nature.
