innuendo in MPAA...say this isnt just me

Okay I watch this show when i get back from college (fricking LOVE IT) and am i wrong in thinking that sophie and brian are always doing little bondage innuendos? I'm pretty damn sure im not, iv just watched an episode where Sophie enjoys being accidentally whipped (the one where brian turns the house into an animal sancturary and the budgie explodes) and another episode there was a whole buisness with a table you tie people to... It's not just me I swear.

Well there are 2 other episodes witch Josh gets tied up and Lucy is tied to the bed but it's proberly just coincedence.

reply

wtf does innuendo mean and i think the show is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

reply

Plus theres an episode where Sophie is dressed like a german dictator (dominatrix?) and is tying people up left right and centre

The whole show is multilayered, there are jokes that adults get more than kids will, it's been like that from the start, it tries to be funny to adults and kids.

dan m90: an innuendo is not derogatory. It's an implication of a sexual nature. It's not insulting.

I agree!

There was an episode the other day where Brian brings a rat home, and claims that he found it in an alleyway. Eventually, Lucy finds out that Brian bought the rat, and Brian says "Yeah, that's right. I was lonely, so I paid for a little company - what's so wrong with that?"

The fact that you have the right to do a thing does not make it the right thing to do

reply

yeah.... never really thought about that but I see what you mean

y'all wanna buy a sqerwl

reply

Well, it's co-written by Paul Rose, the guy behind Digitiser and Bubblegun, so it's bound to have a lot of inuendo that'll go over kids heads but make us old bustards smirk.

I could be anybody!
No you couldn't. This is Information Retrieval.

That episode is HILARIOUS.

One of the reasons I started liking the show (even though I was 23 when I first saw it) is all the innuendo and situations which seem innocent to younger audiences just seem SO wrong to an adult :D

reply

I love all that about it :) what about the epsiode where Brian and Sophie are 'metaphalaxiating their lower wagmas' in the kitchen and Sophie says 'Stop,we need protection!' LOL
