To be fair......
Somniosus microcephalus
The Greenland, or sleeper shark, is one of the few sharks found in polar waters year-round. Noted for its lethargic nature, this species often grows to 4.2 m with the largest recorded being 6.3 m long and weighing 1,020 kg.
Inuit often catch this fish by luring it to a hole chopped in the ice and either harpooning it or simply dragging it out of the water by hand. Its flesh, however, unless properly prepared is highly toxic and causes symptoms similar to those caused by too much alcohol.
Despite its well-known apathy, it is known to consume much livelier animals, such as squid, herring, salmon, and seals, although how it manages to do this in view of its sluggish and inoffensive nature remains unconfirmed.

so, some sharks DO surivive in ice water

And as far as we're concerned, the Megalodon is prehistoric. It could have lived on land, for all we care.
