Is Megalodon good?

Megalodon is tragically bad. although, i knew what i was in for and i still rented it. the character development was seriously lacking, there was too much irrelevent build up and not enough actual shark suspense and interaction for my taste (that's forgiving the meager budgeting for it's wanting cgi).

the backstreet boy cameo was kind of entertaining, and both Robin Sachs and Mark Sheppard play roles in Joss Whedon's Buffy and Firefly, respectively.

Buy Deep Blue Sea instead, much, much better shark movie and cheap by now. Deep Blue Sea isnt that great either but at least you get to see Samuel L. Jackson eaten by a shark and there some good action (In renny harlin movies there always is, usually not good though)

Rather bad movie, but an interestign view on why Megalodons are dull antagonists. THey're too damn large to be useful. the shark in JAWS was big enough to still be able to chomp up humans. WTF would a Megalodon hunt humans for?(hint hint; A certain number of books about the subject comes to mind.)
