Lea Thompson is wonderful in this offbeat, unpredictable film. And Richard Grieco is surprisingly endearing.

It's a mixed bag throughout... Wasn't always certain I liked it while watching. There are a couple of rather unlikeable characters - one that provides an "ick" factor early on, but we get a pay-off for that later. Ultimately, "Fish Don't Blink" is a winner.

As one reviewer mentioned, it's very "Benny and Joon"-ish. If you enjoyed that, you'll probably like this one, too.

I caught this movie this morning, and had to stop what I was doing to watch the whole thing (i started watching mainly due to my crush on Wil Wheaton!) I was pleasantly surprised! Cute flick! Lea Thompson is great in everything, but this role was a nice change for her. I could kind of see the ending coming, but it was fun nonetheless.
