Make your FFX-3 Plot

Not that I want it to happen but if it did what would you want it to be like?

I never finished FFX-2, so another sequel wouldn't be my thing. I'd like a prequel instead, with Auron, Jecht and Braska going on the pilgrimage. But only because I want to know the story. You already know a lot from the Jecht spheres you find in FFX, but not everything. Gameplay wise, it would just be a copy of FFX except that they DO get the final aeon and destroy Sin with it, instead of opposing the system.

But if they could change world travel to the FF12 system, that would allow more freedom. Perhaps they could incorporate the mission system from FFX-2 but make it more serious.

It still would be too short and not intriguing enough, though.

A Prequal would be great, they could make it where they had other characters tag along.

Spira blows up and thusly no more FFX related games could be made. Sweet.

I've always liked the idea of a FFX prequel, but I wouldn't want to see it released as a game.

But, I like the idea of seeing the torment that Auron and Jecht both go through as the game goes on. We could see all the spheres that Jecht records on his journey that he plans to leave behind for Tidus, and we can see how Auron becomes increasingly disillusioned with the pilgrimage he's taking. Also, there could be plenty of references to other characters in FFX, such as Kimahri, Rin, Kinoc and Mika. It would be pretty good as a sort of tie-in film or something, but nothing more.

Tidus runs off with a sexy blitzball player named Ruberto. Yuna tops herself. The world lives happily ever after.

Auron, Jecht and Braska prequel of course.

Seems like that is the winner! I'd go for that. Like others said, we know part of the story, it would be fun to expand on it.

Plus, Auron's just legendary.
