For people who have the DVD!

If you have the Disneyland Fun DVD, go to set up, then audio options, and switch it from English to French. If you do this then the DVD will switch to an all french version of the Sing Along Songs that was filmed in Disneyland Paris!

It's mostly the same songs only with a couple of new ones, and it takes you all around the Disneyland Paris Resort! Check it out!!

I don't think there is a French version on the DVD.

Do you have the DVD? If you switch the language from English to French you will see the French version. I have the DVD and I've seen the French Version many times.

reply

Of course I have the DVD. However, this is an official U.S. release, so if you have an international release, then that would sum things up.

My DVD is an official US release also, here's the offical Disney page that states that it's an English/French language DVD-

And here's a link to the videos that can be seen on the DVD if the language is switched to French-

Is there any way I can tell from the DVD cover that there is the French option? I want to replace my current copy with the one with the "Disneyland Paris" versiopn, but I don't want to buy one finding out that it's what I already have.

reply

It doesn't mention the French language on the DVD cover, but it is there. If you already have this DVD-

then you won't need to get another copy because it has both French and English languages.

I have the DVD with the exact cover shown in your Amazon link but there is no language option in the Set Up menu, only an English caption for the hearing impaired option. I also tried simply clicking the audio and subtitle buttons on my DVD player remote and nothing came up but the English caption option. The Stock # for my DVD is 41797. You can find the Stock # on the spine of the DVD case cover and on the DVD itself. Could you please tell us what Stock # is on the DVD you have with the French language option? Unfortunately, Amazon does not state the Stock # of the DVDs they sell, only their own seller's item code. I doubt that any online seller does. So choosing the right DVD for this Easter Egg bonus extra before purchasing would only work if you happen to see the DVD in a retail store and can check the Stock #, not online. But any info you can offer on the Stock # would help. Thanks.

Oh my god! You're right, I never knew that! Amazing easter egg!!!

reply

Thank you so much for pointing this out. Wouldn't have found out otherwise!

reply

Oh cool!!! I have the DVD so I will have to hear the French version!!! Thanks for the heads up!!! :)
