the atheist is black and a jerk, where as the amazing white religious
guy is a understanding, safe climber who forgives the other man, 4 being an a-hole. and the end is just plain stupid....
I *Knew* someone was going to make this type of allegation against this movie (quoted from posted reviews) sooner or later. The irony is, if the black actor had played the Christian, someone could've argued it was racist based on a supposed stereotype of "blacks always expected to be forgiving and dying for the white man". When reviewers are opposed to the central message of a movie, they're going to find fault with it no matter how good the technical presentation, the actors' performances or the overall plot.
