This Movie is Laughable

I don't know if anyone will actually ever read this post since this message board is dead, but I just saw the movie for the first time. First off, for nobody to be able to recognize Stanley from the "disguises" he puts on is ridiculous. At certain points, he parades around in a pair of glasses around the film set. In the first film, Stanley is established as an intelligent character. Meanwhile, I guess that all went out the window with the sequel. He goes back to play himself in the movie? Sorry, that's a bit ridiculous.

The movie was just full of terrible writing, dialogue, and acting. Especially the scenes where they decided to switch from the normal camera to what looks like a Viewmaster. There are so many ridiculous things that happen in this movie that it's extremely hard to believe. If you want to even enjoy this film the slightest bit, don't use your brain while watching this.

what kind of idiot are you?

you actually turn your brain on when watching movies? you can name the best film you've ever seen and i can promise you i can rip it to peices with how bad and unrealistic it is... so dont be coming here shouting the odds about how poor this film is...

the camera switching from normal to amatuish is actually quite good when you can understand the reasons behind this, but you can't cos you're not a film maker and you don't understand what is actually happening here... u know nothing about directing or writing for that matter...

Sorry, I just couldn't resist this.
How about Scent of a Woman, or Contact, or The Rainmaker, or Sideways, or The Departed, or Saving Private Ryan, or High Fidelity, or Blackhawk Down, or The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, or Reservoir Dogs, or The Insider, or Heat, or Silence of the Lambs? Pick any of one of these you want.

Knock yourself out you nit-picking troll, at least you picked a good (dead) message board for it.

Either way, "realism" is fairly low on my list of why I enjoy some movies and not others. I'm actually agreeing with you on that part.
