Just wondering about the character Tobias,
was he gay?
I don't remember any particular scenes that would make this clear... I wish his character had some more development past the interview scene.

When Wendy's brother William went to talk to him in his room, I thought "something" was going to happen...
and then at the end when Tobias told him to shutup, I thought he was gonna grab William's head and kiss him!
[Although I've seen the sequel so I know William isn't gay]

and for anyone who has seen the French version deleted scenes,
are there any that focus on Tobias?

I've seen all the deleted scenes and... There's one scene where we see again William and Tobias. But they don't kiss they only arguing again.

I didn't get an "is" or "isn't" vibe with Tobias, either way. I don't think it was even a consideration with the writer or actor.

He gave strong gay vibes. Just the way he was and the way he dressed, was queer-ish.

I also thought he was gonna kiss William. Why did he tell him to shut up?

Guys, please don't stereotype gays. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, styles. Its just the image of a typical gay in your mind making Tobias gay.
