Anybody want to live in this movie

I know i would.

That's kind of sad.

"Do you really think it's cool to hit the sauce with a bun in the oven?"

reply

reminds me very much of the period of my studies at the university, where you live several years among all kinds of people

reply

Certainly not! I dislike Spain, I went there all the time when I was younger and I can't recall any fond memories of the place. The living arangements in the film don't apeal either, I'd choose my studio over some Student-house or "kot" as we call it any day.

reply

Yes! I definitely would LOVE to!

reply

lol it could be fun, but their apartment was gross & some of the guys were really stupid.

reply

Ah, saudade.

reply

I did!! I love this film so much, all the more so bcos it mirrored my Residence Abroad spent in Paris and Berlin so closely, meeting such an array of ppl and finding out so much about yourself, going thru all the feelings and experiences they do...anyone that lived/worked/studied abroad will know exactly what i mean, that year really does change your life ;)

i can only hope my life really is just beginning so i can have any experience like this ...

a whirlwind of full flavoured life.

reply

so darn sad. that's how i lost my gf who left for one year to study in france.

reply

yeah, the strongest memory that i have with this movie is that it's the first french movie my french ex-girlfriend showed to me when i was with her :(

reply

Absolutely, just living with all sorts of different people your age from all over the globe would be such an amazing experience. Each with our own section of the fridge :D

I can relate to this movie in so many ways. First I left my girlfriend for 6 months of studies abroad (USA), 2 years later we moved to Barcelona together to work and made friends from all over the world. And when we returned home (in northern Europe) after 1,5 years in Barca, we broke up. So watching this movie is like a compact rerun of our entire relationship. Great movie, fantastic memories...

i 2 want to live like that, it seems amazing to be in an another country, have friends from everywhere help each other and to go to cool parties

Ooh yes yes yes! :D I'm going to Barcelona in a week actually, can't wait! It's a vacation, though. I keep my fingers crossed that I can get into the school I applied and that I can be exchange student too next year... :P
