is this any good?

Did you get around to watching it yet?

I rented this on a whim and found it to be quite watchable although there was real danger of my turning it off halfway through because of the clunky dialogue. The characters seemed to be stating the obvious on a number of occasions (as if it was expected that viewers may nod off during the film and need hints to catch up without having to skip the movie back to recap). Some of the dialogue seems unscripted but this seems stilted and pointless too

It's not a film I would recommend to anyone without even a passing interest in tango though (I haven't, as you may have guessed). The sentiment is quite sweet but could have been better presented as it ends up looking like a tv movie.

I watched it the other day, without any expectations and i really enjoyed it!
But i agree that maybe could be slow for some people...

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.

It's more of a mood piece than a conventional film, and those expecting a strong action or dance movie will be disappointed. I found it worthwhile for Robert Duvall's performance, direction and basic meandering. 7/10 stars from me.
