Ok let's suppose that the film was shooted during the 2001 oki ?
Even with that as a fact Ludivine Sagnier should actually be 22yo!
Now DOES SHE LOOKS LIKE 22yo?!!?!?!?!?
oki Catherine is supposed to be 17yo but plz tell me is this girl actually 22!??!?!
i mean is either a mistake in her bio or she looks TOOOOO YOUNG for her age!(that's a good thing for her no doubt about that though! :) )

what do you all think ?

ps:
For me in the movie she doesn't look even 17 i'd say 15 tops!

No I don't think it's a mistake. In "Swiming Pool" (another French movie which I didn't find really good though), she looks like a woman of her age!(and she's rather pretty)

Some people just look a lot younger (Alison Lohman playing a 14 year old when she was 23). And besides they dressed her up to look very young.

She looks like a baby in this movie, but she's a stone cold fox in "Swimming Pool," which was just one year later. It's gotta do with movie presentation. Also, some people just slip in and out of different images and personalities better than others.

She looks her age. Young, but her age. And yes, she is a fox and a half in Swimming Pool.

Never underestimate the effect of acting, makeup, and direction on the projected age of the character. What you see when you watch the movie is not the actor but the character which is built from the actor's own appearance, the acting, then makeup, and the direction.

More surprising to me was to find out that Emmanuelle Béart was 38 when the film was shot. She looked 20!

But Ludivine Sagnier's age was a surprise as well, I agree, I easily could have given her even less than 17.

So kudos to the actresses and the make-up artists. :)
