Well, even years later, I think this was one of the best Oscar shows I've ever seen. Probably because the actors really showed emotions and broke down, like Paul Sorvino and Kirk Douglas' wife. And of course, when the late Christopher Reeve made that surprise appearance, you see how the audience reacted. The only bad thing was Braveheart winning Best Picture. That's a good picture, but not really the best.
