A Plea To Those With Footage

I know I'm being naive here, but I have a plea to those with "Night Flight" footage. Please put aside your financial aspirations and post this footage on YouTube. I know everybody wants to make an easy buck, but there isn't enough money at stake to justify keeping this rare material to yourself.

It's your decision, of course, but sharing "Night Flight" is the right thing to do. Bits and pieces are already showing up on YouTube, and it would be nice to see a more complete collection materialize.

This is irony! going thru some old SNL tape i found from when I was in 9th grade I stumbled on a full 2 hours of Night Flight, I guess I fell asleep trying to watch SNL, the recorder stayed rolling, and for some reason in Utah, Night Flight came on right after SNL every saturday night, this one has Tom Juarez hosting it, and is a dedication to High School heavy metal themed videos, it's from 1992. the only problem is I don't have high speed, and there is no f u cking way in hell im going to try to upload it to you tube, mabey i'll do a transfer to DVD, instead of hauling the VHS copy around, that's why I even checked IMDB for Night Flight, was cause I found this, I need to find the rest of my Vhs tapes, I recorded every SNL from 91 to 93, theres gotta be *beep* loads of Night Flight Footage at the end of all those, or some of those, but I doubt I have anymore full length episodes recorded, i'll look though, if you want footage that bad leave a post back, cause if not im not really going to hurry or anything,

Did you ever go through your old tapes? The cost of transferring has gone down quite a bit and all our Internet connections are faster. There are even online communities that could guide you through the best way of transferring the footage.

Those SNL music performances would be awesome to see too.

You know what bro, I never have, I have moved several times, I will make a note to go track the box with those VHS tapes in it, and get it done, and the music performances would be cool to check out, I know for a fact one of them is Nirvana, doing Smells Like and I think Lithium, maybe thats not the name, but im sure those appearances are all over the internet, individually, the actual SNL episodes are whats classic, as that is what I believe the by far best cast ever to grace SNL, some pretty dirty ones to, that are hilarious, like when Kirstie Alley hosted, that Italian restaurant skit, blows my mind what they got away with back then, yeah give me a few, I'll let you know when I find them, transferring them might not be as quick, Im without a doubt doing the Night Flight 1st, if I have time to do the SNL's I will, it's going to take some time just going through them.

The 10 min limit per video on youtube makes it not practical to post an entire show.
I posted The Pheromones - Yuppie Drone music video.
There are hundreds of NF dvdrs in the trade circles.
Plus the producer has acquired all rights to the show so he would be able to post entire shows since he is the copyright owner.
It would be nice to see that happen. `

My dad has all these recorded on the old BETA video tape. I have no idea how to get them formatted from Beta or if we can even come across a working BETA player. Some of the ones I remember is Porky Pig, Ronald Regan trying to zip his pants in record time, Bambi vs. Godzilla, Rocky Horror Picture Show Timewarp, Some guy doing a godzilla skit while he's washing dishes, tons of music videos, little clips of the black and white devil drinking out of the liquor bottle. Loved this show!!
