Somehow the date dosent seem right unless the reruns ran until the early 1990s, because thats when I remember watching this series the most especially on USA around the time they started airing Up All Night.

Up All Night took over Night Flight's time slot on USA. They never aired simultaneously. I'm sure the year was 1988. Probably around September. I don't recall USA ever showing reruns.
Up All Night was originally called "The Late Late Movie Movie" for a short time. Gilbert Gottfried was the host on both nights before he started sharing it.
I'm pretty sure repeats moved to TBS late nights.
