Feature on bands from Boston

Anyone recall a Night Flight feature on bands from Boston? Not sure when it aired, but it had to be late 80s. It included bands like Boston and The Cars, but the one group I wanted to research was an up and coming 3-piece group that was profiled.

I don't recall their name, but they were a high energy rock/new wave group playing in a large club venue in the feature. I remember the lead singer (also the guitarist) talking about fans, and he said something about "you might see one guy with a beer bottle in his hand, and he looks like he's gonna throw it".

Anyone remember this segment, or know anything about this band?
