Has anyone in France or perhaps in the English-speaking countries seen the film and can tell me something about it?? Unfortunately, it did not make it´s way into German cinemas. I loved Masson´s former films and would be very interested in this one - what it´s about, the actors, what kind of reactions it got, etc. I would be grateful for any information!
shareI saw it last night just for watching Isabelle Adjani. The story starts from a woman coming out of jail looking for job and soon meet an old rich man who wants a company, the woman grows up in an ordinary family but wants to live like rich people and the old man just lost his wife died of suicide, and it ends with the old man kills her exboyfriend and the woman claims she did it---been put to jail again. All those lonely heart kind of feeling story, and typical french style. There's a dancing scene by Isabelle Adjani wearing the black shirt and long black silk skirt with big black sunglasses and black hair, quite impressive.
shareLa repentie is a good movie if you like calm, music(Jeff Buckley), beautiful views,and Isabelle Adjani. But we can say it's too slow and the story is limited.
