bad ending

I only saw about the last 45 minutes or so. The ending could have been done better. I mean they have the father look like he's dead, and then they even show a computer video diary from his dad afterward. There was not much signifigance to add the video diary in since the dad was still alive and could've just said that he would spend more time with his son himself. Yes, the point of the diary was to show how much into computers Dylan's dad is into it, but this was overdoing it. Not like we couldn't tell from Dylan's dad, Brad, owning the company, or typing frantically into a computer, etc.
