Manchester Inaccuracy

I suppose only Mancunians who frequent the city centre will know this, but I spotted it so thought I'd mention.

Simon goes into a strip club of some kind, but when he goes up onto the roof he's then able to see City Tower to his left, and Lewis's ahead, which means that he would be standing on top of the Thistle Hotel and the old GMPTE building, not a strip club (and there's certainly no strip clubs that open and in the open city centre, facing Piccadilly Gardens!), so when he fell off the roof, he would've landed on concrete, either a pavement, or onto Portland Street, the main road itself... there's certainly no canal there! And when he came out of the canal, he was down the back of Oxford Street, so he would've had to have fell off, down the main road, left, down another main road, left again down another main road, left through a gate to the canal edge, and into the canal!

I know, its not meant to be real or accurate, but I just noticed, thats all, hehe!

Any other Mancunians notice this?

Also quite a bit of this is shot in liverpool! Castle street, and on the rooftop bank robbery scenes you can clearly see the liverpool skykline, the huge mersey tunnel air vent is an obvious giveaway.

I know exactly what you mean,I'm a londoner and when I see films made in london,I can see so many geographical inaccuracies it's laughable!

I don't know Manchester at all well, but recognised part of Liverpool straight away in the roof scenes. Will be quite obvious for people from either city.
