I haven't seen this film, but I was wondering:

Why for the IMDB thing does it recommend Planet of the Apes (2001)

Can anyone explain this to me.

I just saw this film. They're strikingly similar. The make up artists' skills, the acting roster, and the hardcore action scenes.
Both films touch the heart in a way no other film can.

Those snooty rich kids in the movie is reminiscent of apes.
