Well, the Serbians of Bosnia joined the Serbs. The Croats fought the Muslims at the beginning. Later on, they joined the Bosnian army.

The people of Arpad and Attila shall occupy the greater Pannonian basin.

no, the croats and muslims fought together at the begining and divided later

...and after a rather short (yet still too long) tragic war they soon stopped fighting against each other and became allies again.

If not so, the war would have a different end (or wouldn't end at all). If Croats didn't help Bosnians and joined them, in Dayton days Serbs would keep 70 percent or even more. If Bosnians didn't let Croats pass over their land and helped them Croats would never, or at least with far more casualties, gain freedom for their occupied regions.

Exactly. And this shows how people can live together and cooperate regardless the nationality and religion until some radicals and fundamentalists appear - no matter if they are Muslim, Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox etc. But if circumstances change, such movements can make success and even spread roots in regions that were once free of hostilities and radicalism. So, if the war in Bosnia lasted several years more... some Mujahedins came to Bosnia during the war, found some new followers, but as the war ended soon enough, they became unimportant minority and many of them left the country. So this region, despite the war between Serbia and Kosovo Albanians, uncertain destiny of Macedonia (blocked by southern neighbor Greece even to chose the name of the country!) and still strong lack of trust between Croats and Serbs, has preserved its secure status as one of the most terrorism-free parts of the Europe or even world.
