Was Hammer really with 2Pac the night he was shot?

In this movie it has Hammer partying with 2Pac the night he was shot. Was this true? Was Hammer really with 2Pac the night he died? If so, how come he does not talk about it more? Or was it exgerated for the movie's dramatic sake?

I have no idea but a great question. I really couldn't believe the fact that Hammer and 2pac were buddies. My gut tells me they were passing acquaintances at best.

Terrible, terrible movie. But one of the funniest I have ever seen. I could watch this train wreck repeatedly.

I don't think he was with Tupac that night. 'Pumps And A Bump' came out in 1994 on Giant Records. He didn't sign with Death Row Records until 1995 or 1996. He probably wouldn't be hanging out with Suge Knight or Tupac until he got signed to Death Row.

He WAS with Tupac! Hammer had just joined Death Row
Records and all of them went to see the Fight that
night and Tupac got into one when he stomped the mess
out of this guy in the Hotel Lobby.

Hammer was not there. In all the recollections I've heard over the years about what went down that night Hammer was NEVER mentioned, and still isn't. The only time we hear this is in his VH1 movie. Hammer himself has never spoke about this in person.
He was not there!

Movie was very inaccurate. 2pac didn't even sign to Deathrow till late 95.
