weird....but good
This movie really reminded me of Wild Things....not the story line, but more the way it was presented. A lot of the elements were the same.

Neve excels playing characters that have something to hide. She can be mysterious, intelligent, and aloof at the same time. Every movie she's in, I always get the feeling, that no matter what character role she's in at the time, she's really a cold, calculating killer. Maybe 'Wild Things' did that to me, but its because she's way too smart to be clueless and her intelligence can't help but show through whatever veil she's displaying on film.

Just re-watched this and I completely agree that the relationships and characters seem a bit rushed, especially the romance. I also find it strange that Jake Busey is set up as such a prime player in the film when in reality it takes a great time to begin incorporating Matt and it's hard to care about whatever transformation he may have had in the end, since we hadn't really gotten much chance to even know him.
Still, this is a pretty good movie and it doesn't fail to entertain me.
I actually thought this movie was horrible. It was way too slow.

Okay, this movie wasn't "Brokeback Mountain." It wasn't "Titanic." But it was still good enough to keep me entertained and amused. I found it beautiful and very odd in a way. I love how Neve is just SOOOO sweet even though she killed her husband. I think the ending was GREAT where you find out the mechanic actually killed her husband. Although it won't win any awards and it won't be widely recognized, it's a good movie and Neve is great in it! Busey and "Billy McGee" (LOL) do a good job as well!

anyway the movie cover threw me off
the cover made it seem like it was gonna be dark or creepy or something.
I'm not sure if this is one of the worst good movies I've seen, or one of the best bad ones. Whichever, I'm glad I watched it.
