Too much Nissan?

It's kinda impossible for me to rate this movie because it consists of some great footage & sound tracks mixed with as many really boring bits. I recommend just fast-forwarding over the stuff that doesn't appeal you. That way you get your own perfect-but-short extreme sport movie.

Well not quite perfect. There's still that Nissan thing. It is so in-your-face that it was a buzz-kill for me every time. That stuff is mostly just brief clips of logos and vans along with as many utterances of the word "Nissan" as possible during periods too short to fast-forward-over. Actually there is one long segment all about a "Nissan" half-pipe event or something. I fast-forwarded over that so I may be wrong here but I didn't see any audience as I flew over that event which kinda makes it indistinguishable from a TV commercial. Oh, and they even used one classically subliminal flash with a full-screen Nissan logo at 11:36, exactly at a real feel-good moment; as if they are trying to spread the feel-good onto their brand.

The really funny thing is that I own their 350Z and love the hell out of it. Someday soon I expect that Netflix or others will be streaming movies with customized brands strategically inserted into their movies so that each viewer gets the marketing messages meant just for them. At least I sure hope that's not what I just saw! You saw Nissan too, right?
